I'd been planning to shoot one of these when I saw Andrew's lovely pictures, but I'm not really set-up to stack such huge things! So I drilled down a bit...

Both shot with OM38/2.8 at f2.8, stacks of 30 and 19 respectively, both Zerene pmax.

Well I've got me a big rig, a little rig and a vertical rig - actually it's your fault because I was going to build a vertical rig based on the Multiphot you won on eBay, so while I was slowly building mine from scratch I built my "big rig"

The stigma on these almost look like tentacles on an octopus, I find them slightly disturbing

Thanks guys - yep I thought tentacle as well...

Incidentally this stack was a bit more complex than usual to put together, see this slightly large (3.7mb) animation of the stack of resized frames!
