This is my first post. Please direct me to the proper area of the site if this does not fit. Thanks for any comments/suggestions.
I found this spider upside down on the basement carpet. It is the first big test of the manual NiSi macro rail I purchased. The camera is a Pentax K-1. The lens is the Laowa CA-Dreamer 100mm at a little more than 1.5x, f3.5, about 500 images, no flash.
The subject is very dirty, so I did not think it worthwhile to do a lot of post processing. Is it possible (worth it?) to clean up a specimen like this without damaging it? What equipment is needed to clean a subject like this?
Edit: Here is a link to the larger version. Cleaning up the spider is no longer an option. It mysteriously disappeared from the white cap on which I placed it.

Thanks!
