Fly on poppyhead

Post by pawelfoto »

I photographed the fly without cleaning it freshly after catching it. I was surprised to see that a small molt (cast skin?) was stuck to the tongue. After the ultrasonic bath, I posed the fly on the poppyhead left in the garden after the beautiful red poppies bloom. The other artifact in front of the fly was completely accidental, but since it fit the scene I didn't remove it.

Kudos.........
Since I have retired and I've rekindled a love for photography. I don't take myself serious but I do take creating interesting and well executed images seriously.

Hi Steve,
I have been using the WeMacro rail for less than a year. I learned focus stacking with YT. I am a fan of the Allan Walls channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3N1Bv ... 3SSthhzReA He has been using StackShot by Cognisys for years. It is called a Mercedes among the rails. For me as a beginner, this equipment seemed too expensive, so because of the price, I decided to buy WeMacro. There were no problems with the transaction - good contact with the seller. I ordered a Raynox DCR 150 tube lens kit right away. Shipment arrived in 2 weeks, well packaged. I am satisfied with the quality and functionality. The application that controls parameters from the phone is particularly convenient. It seems easier than Cognisys.
