Phenominal! I wonder if recently emerged flies are cleaner. But that would likely involve rearing the little buggers.

Wow.

I am so impressed at this shot as the detail and crispness jumps out.

So, once you perform your ultra sonic cleaning, how do you keep the hairs from matting as the specimen dries?

OK, ultrasonic cleaning in sidolin, then in gasoline and then in isopropanol.
Finally blow dry with bellows.
