A 270-image stack, 6 micron steps, 7.5x Mitty on 200mm tube lens. Sony A7rii running in APS-C crop mode. Zerene pmax and stereo. I think the stereo came out particularly well - in terms of good stereo effect.

Thanks for commenting all - appreciated as always.
The flower lay in some water in a lid until I was ready. Then I snipped off the style that held the best looking stigma and stuck a double-zero ent pin close to the end for better support. I shot jpg with 2 secs between shots (1 sec moved *just* too soon after the shutter closed for my tastes),
It's still on the rig, so here's the shot that spoils the magic. Taken with a 5x mitty dropped on instead (a 1-image stack ).
This is the rig both were shot on (phone snap)
And finally, a closeup of the inner diffuser (ping pong ball)
Mmm hmmmrjlittlefield wrote:...I am curious,
how did you pose this thing against a pure black background and keep it from wilting for long enough to shoot a stack?

Re: Geranium stigma
I am just taking a tea break while installing a home cinema screen.
The projector supports most 3D modes which is why I bought it.
I should have the 3D glasses today or tomorrow and this would make an excellent test subject.
StereoPhoto Maker does not support the AMD 3D driver but by manually choosing the 3D format in the projector it should work.
(The projector is connected to PC in another room with 15m fibre HDMI cable).
Although the image sent to the projector has to be 1920x1080 (with black bands each side if necessary) SPM allows you to pan and zoom a high resolution image.
The results I am quite sure will be spectacular !
Any possibility of uploading the original uncropped high resolution images ?
Thanks.
David
