yesterday I went to the Berta quarry, famous for its green fluorites. No too much fluorites because now they not have demand, but I found a small sample of barite, and it seemed me beautifull for to take a picture. Here is it.
I´ve found that I obtain bad 3D pairs (double image) if I use the same parameters in an image x4 that in a x10. Well, a bit more of experience.
Here is the crossed eyes pair
and the "normal" pair for Craig
barite 2D and 3D

This looks great. For what it's worth, I enjoy the "normal" pair also, blown up to fill my widescreen monitor and viewed through a stereoscope.

The maximum separation depends on stack depth (number of frames) and also on the lens aperture. 10X NA 0.25 allows a lot more separation than 4X NA 0.10.I´ve found that I obtain bad 3D pairs (double image) if I use the same parameters in an image x4 that in a x10.
