Wow those are surreal! So razor sharp throughout the considerable depth of the image, they have almost a '3D' quality. What lens and camera were used please.

Okay. This is absolutely amazing. Why can't we get ants like that here? :(
I'm in Canada! Isn't that weird?

Nicolas, the images are wonderful.
But the liked fickr image isn't an animated GIF but a jpg, so no animation can be seen.

To clarify...

When I click on that link, what I get is a page that shows the image http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8035/8070 ... 109c_b.jpg .

The page title bar says "Daceton Boltoni Animated Gif following the link", but there is no animated gif to be found. The page source references lots of .gif files, but they are just small icons.

This is using FireFox 15.0.1 and IE 8.0.6001.18702.

Indeed, very strange. I am not aware of any Flickr switches that will present one type of image to some users and a different type to another, but perhaps there is such a thing.

In any case, if you provide a direct link to the animated gif, then perhaps the rest of us can see it too.

By the way, I don't see any evidence in people's postings here that anyone besides you has seen the animated gif. All the replies can be comments about the still images that everyone can see.
