Hello everyone,
In this stereo pair it can be difficult to recognize what is in the foreground.

Re: some stereos
For whatever it's worth, I get this immediately. The broken edge on the darker section of the bulb is foreground, ring tips back at the top. Debris in the middle of the ring is far forward.
Viewing this as parallel (using a viewer), the depth inverts -- the darker section of the bulb moves to background and the ring tips forward at the top. In this case the broken edge at the boundary gets interpreted as a break in the low contrast surface at upper left, with the darker section at lower right seen behind that. This interpretation is consistent with itself. Only with knowledge of how the stack was shot can we be sure of what the physical reality is.

Yes, that is crucial!
Depending on how you change the Z-axis in the 3D model you get one of the two views.
BTW, if you stack from top to bottom in a vertical setup,
how is that mapped in depth map of Zerene?

Re: some stereos
The depth map always corresponds to the order in which the images were stacked. That is, 0 corresponds to the first entry in the list of Input Files, after stacking.

Hello Rik,
Yes, yes, I was thinking that there is something like zoffset
and Zerene can recognize the direction of stacking (move away/towards).
