Using Stackshot with Sony cameras

Hi all, I am relatively new to macro but have been caught in its grasp. Currently I use a manual rail, but I want to use the Stackshot. Its my understanding that because Sony and only one microUSB port in the A7ii, the shutter and tethering are only on that single port. Is it possible to do tethered capture on a Sony A7 ii camera with Stackshot? Thanks for any help.
