Its just a bee, but the things finally slowed up enough so I was able to get to the minimum focal distance of my kit. They were still active, but stayed on the same plant much longer.

Its just that I've been trying all spring for that shot. The working distance for the 50 f2 is a bit more than 4" without the 250D, so I may have been in the plant to some degree.
Every once in a while there is a good macro day where things just seem to work out. That day was one of them. I got a few bee pics I liked, and some other subjects as well.
Here was a spider with some extra color added by mother nature taken a couple minutes after the bee.
