Wrapping Dinner

Post by missgecko »

I think this is an Orb Spider busily wrapping up a rather large Christmas Beetle. I can't fathom how this little spider managed to capture this beetle. The beetle was still alive and made a buzzing sound and much to my regret, I decided to leave it with the spider. My daughters were horrified that I left it to its fate, but nature is what it is. I still feel guilty though.
