Backyard Time Killing

Post by AlP »

As a time killer yesterday I took my Canon 5D MK IV outside for the first time. The camera has only been used on an auto rail since new three years ago. I was shooting shade to sunlight and back. What I learned, the auto ISO does not work with flash (Yongnuo twin macro light) and locks in at ISO 400. Turn the flash off, auto ISO works. It was the first time I have tried auto ISO on any camera. Anyway, the rig used for the following snaps, Canon 5D MK IV, Canon 180mm macro, 36mm extension tube, Yongnuo twin macro light powered with Godox PB960 power pack.

Very good. Yellow jackets are challenging, as they move a lot!
