A few recent pics

Post by vinceparadise »

Thought I'd share a few recent macro pics. Although not super close like a lot of the amazing images on here, I quite liked them. Don't have the equipment or know how to get a mega pic of a fly's eye, maybe one day though :D

Good start, Vince. Um, what is the insect (2nd image from the bottom) that has what looks like a scorpion claw butt. Very interesting insect.

Wonderful set! great detail all thru

You've already got the composition and detail spot on, I'd like to say working on softening the light would push these to the next level

Hi, It's actually called a "Scorpion fly" the stingy looking tail is quite harmless as its just a clasper used during mating.

Really nice pictures, and omg you got a peacock butterfly. I so very much want to see one of those!
A little goal to have is to capture the tiny hairs that cover the compound eyes of honeybees. Its tricky, but you are very close to getting it!

the photos are more than good, I like the bee with its head in the flower... soften the sharpness of the light and reflections of the exoskeleton and wings and that's the only thing I advise...
