Violets and Dill Weeds

The weather this year has been cooler and wetter than usual, and my garden area is fairly awash in volunteer annual violets and dill weed.

This is shot with an ancient compact camera, Canon A710 IS, using its built-in lens at widest angle and manual focus to shoot a 10-frame focus stack. ISO 80, 1/8 second, f4.

The most unusual aspect of this image is probably the setup used to hold the camera in place. That's described HERE.
