Every fall, for one day, our house is inundated with a swarm of ladybugs.
While I outside photographing, I found this mud wasp nest under our eaves. Possibly from Pseudomasaris vespoides?

Re: The Swarm
We get those too, along with stink bugs and boxelder bugs.
What are those mud nests on the stucco?

Re: The Swarm
From what I found, they may be pollen wasp nests. Each cell holds one larva and is stocked by the female wasp with pollen and nectar.
