A very common spider but worth a closer look. Metellina segmentata.
22 image handheld stack. Canon 5D, 100mm macro lens, Raynox 250 and diffused flash.

That is exceptionally nice! What machine would provide handheld stacks of a subject hanging in the breeze?

Just support the camera and lens on a small bean bag, the sort you can buy for resting computer tablets on tables. There is enough give in the bag to allow a very smooth forward movement of the lens whilst activating the shutter.
