These pictures are from the Hidden Valley Wildlife Preserve in Norco, California. My wife had the DSLR to take bird pictures, so I was stuck with the 6 MP Casio Exilim with a Raynox 250. I'm always pretty impressed with the pictures that this combo takes.
Not a remarkable picture, but I included this one because the bee was just hanging out under the flower and I've never seen that behavior before. After the first flash, he came out from hiding.
This picture is terrible, but I had never seen a fly with a pattern like this on its wings. I found two of them today. This one and a red one that came out really poorly.

Good series- assuming the last fly was fairly small - think it's a picture wing fly (Tephritidae).
