I have made some flat LED lights, in a grid pattern and mounted to a heatsink.....about 4x8 inches size.
I use these like mini-panel lights.
I want to put a screw-mounted plastic shield over the (5700K) LED's, to protect them, and to give me a surface to place my choice of temporary vellum-type paper diffusing (Rosco 3000, example).
I will leave a 0.5 inch space, as to not suffocate the LED's, and also allow for proper diffusion.
My question is......
......What type of plastic is the best, to prevent color-change, and durability ?
Lexan ?
Cast acrylic ?
Plexiglass ?
Plastic Shield over LEDs ??
