I'm curious if anybody knows current status for Spach Optics Inc, http://spachoptics.com. The company turns up periodically when I'm searching for lenses, but despite email and multiple phone calls I can't get any response from them.
Any info appreciated!

This company and its president, Tim Speck, keep a vanishingly low profile, except for advertising on LabX.
Company was founded in early 2007 and got a $85,000 SBA loan in 2010, so my guess is that this guy just brokers microscope stuff from commercial liquidation auctions.
Funny that in 5 minutes of web search I know far more about Speck's relatives and genealogy than about him or his business. Rarely see someone never mentioned in the local press, trade press etc. except for obits. You also never see blog entries about either. It does seem to be a real business only because the company was listed in one research paper as a source of equipment.
