Im considering one of these as I'm sellig some old equipment that will make them economically available to me.
Does anyone have working experience with either two or both? pros and cons?
If I buy one I will probably be using it on a stackshot on a 200mm tube lens. will the stackshots high precision mode give med small enough steps to use them?

As others have said here the Mitutoyo 20x na 0.42 wd 20mm has better resolution than the Mitutoyo 20x SL na 0.28 wd 30.5mm.
So if I have to chose I would go with the Mitutoyo 20x na 0.42.
BTW, I enclose a test image taken with the Mitutoyo 20x SL na 0.28.
