Currently I use a Olympus e-620 which is a great camera, but the higher resolution of the OM-D and the video capability are sooo tempting. Plus, I used OM cameras for decades, so the retro styling is appealing. I rarely shoot at ISO higher than 100.
Has anyone used both cameras? If so, is the upgrade worthwhile (in your opinion)? Any experience using the OM-D that you can pass on, especially for macro, would be very much appreciated.

I switched from Nikon DSLRs to the OM-D last year:

I have a few pages on Micro 4/3 lenses (Olympus and others) on my site as well.

Thanks very much for this. I read your article with real interest, and it was very helpful. Between this and other information I have reviewed I have decided to pull the trigger and buy one. It turns out that a local retailer will have them on sale in 2 weeks, so I'm biding my time until then.enricosavazzi wrote:I switched from Nikon DSLRs to the OM-D last year:
