Nikon Phase objectives on Olympus BH-2?

Dear All,

I have been looking for a phase contrast setup for my BH-2, and have not seen anything quite within my limited budget, but I have found a set of Nikon CFN DL phase objectives with the corresponding turret condenser. Is it reasonable to use this on my BH-2 with the appropriate Nikon eyepieces? I seem to remember seeing other examples of Nikon Optics on Oly stands, but can't find the relevant posts.

Any help would be appreciated

If the condenser mount is compatible (?), they will work nicely because you're pairing phase condenser and objectives designed to work together.

Hi,

the condenser fits perfectly, as do the eyepieces. The objectives are fitted to a 6 way Olympus nosepiece. I just haven't had the chance to test a good sample for phase contrast and wanted to know if this was a good idea, or whether I was wasting my time.

I know the CFN objectives are excellent and am interested in the phase contrast versions.
