An interesting yet portable means of providing additional support for hand-held macro field photography. The "Bushhawk" gunstock-like gadget I've seen elsewhere seems much heavier and bulkier, although probably cheaper.

At this vendor's web pages, linked from the above post, there are other interesting products, too. E. g., separate electronic viewfinder, separate monitoring screen, etc. While much of this stuff seems aimed at video work, it may be useful for macro field work.

Now all I need is (1) more money, (2) at least one additional donkey to carry all the stuff I already have plus these new gadgets!, (3) to live in a year-around bug-friendly climate! Hmmm....Hawaii vs Singapore...
