Dear Forum,
I wish to have a go at using a 10x microscope objective with my Canon 50D in order to photograph some of the smallest moss (<2 mm tall) and liverwort species (long threads with stems no more than 0.1 mm wide) in my home office/studio. Please could you provide advise on a suitable microscope lens and the adapters/bellows/tubes needed between it and the Canon EOS 50D camera? I will have a StackShot macro rail and controller for use with the set-up, plus various lighting (e.g. Photonic PL 2000 with a double gooseneck arm) and software (Helicon Focus/Adobe Lightroom/Adobe Photoshop/EOS Utility). I'd like to not use flash and spend less than £500 on the objective/adapters/bellows/tubes if possible, but could go a little higher if the cost was worth it. Many thanks for your help.
Best wishes,
Des
