Every 30 days the site administrators will pick an image made through a microscope from the "Photography Through the Microscope Gallery" to be featured on the front page of the www.amateurmicrography.net website.

The following image won the May 2016 award for Micro.

It was originally posted at http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/v ... hp?t=30669.

We're reproducing it here, separately, as part of our procedure to provide clarity when the award goes to one image in a larger collection.

Please discuss the image in its original thread, with cross-references as needed. Thanks!
