The following image won the October 2018 award for Macro.

It was originally posted at http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/v ... hp?t=37442 (image #4 of that thread).

We're reproducing it here, separately, as part of our procedure to provide clarity when the award goes to one image in a larger collection.

Please discuss the image in its original thread, with cross-references as needed. Thanks!
