The following image won the August 2017 award for Macro.

It was originally posted at https://photomacrography.net/forum/view ... 066#216066 (image #2 of that posting).

We're reproducing it here, separately, as part of our procedure to provide clarity when the award goes to one image in a larger collection.

Please discuss the image in its original thread, with cross-references as needed. Thanks!
