total beginner

hi,
for a few years now i wanted to own a microscope and be able to look at tiny creatures .

i bought a bresser trino researcher a week ago and i am hooked

i spend a lot of my free time glued to the eyepiece and watching various things i find in the garden (leafs,bugs, diffrent fluids etc)

then i found this site and now i want to be able to take photos of what i see.

could you please tell me what sort of equipment i need to get to be able to do that?

i read a few threads about attaching a camera to the microscope but since a camera is a big expense i want to make sure it will work with the microscope.

Micha, welcome aboard!

Do you currently have a camera of any sort? Even a cell phone camera?

hi,
i have a cell phone camera and a small "toy microscope" who is also a camera

i tried putting the toy microscope in the "camera shaft" i was able to get an image but i was only able to see a round "light disk" with a small part of the specimen in it (in focus) surrounded by black (i guess it is because the toy microscope has a magnification)

i was thinking to get a 2nd hand dslr camera or a new bresser microscope camera (they both cost the same)
