How to improve this picture of water mite (mideopsis)

@ChrisR : I don't have any flash. I can't try your piece of advice.
@Charles - ChrisR - CactusDave : Obviously a bad picture can't be transformed in a good one. I have to improve my pictures without post processing them.
@Pau : I don't see this lateral chromatic aberration. Are you sure that modern Leica objective needs a complementary correction ?

I'm not sure at all about Leica specifications, may it be because the objective is just an achromat, but I'm seeing CA, the bright parts are blue towards the periphery and yellowish towards the centre:
