Very new at photomicroscopy

I continue to play and learn. Unsharp mask is awesome. I thought I would share some recent shots. I am still not quite where I would hope to be, but I feel like things are improving.

The following is an erythrite (red) with azurite (blue). Field of view is about 3 mm.


The following is erythrite from Cobalt Ontario. Field of view is about 1.5 mm


Thanks for your help!!! I think I need to find ways still to reduce vibration. Am thinking of laying a stone slab on the desk under the assumption that making it heavier mean household vibrations will have a smaller effect.

I see in my above images something I missed earlier - blue concentric circles above the red crystal. Hmm that needs fixing, wonder what caused it
