Paramecium surface staining with opal blue

Post by Gerd »

Image

Paramecium caudatum from culture material stained with opal blue.
A small drop with the protozoa is mixed with the stain on a cover slip,
then spread evenly on the glass. The slide is allowed to dry in the air
and then examined with oil or mounted with Euparal or something else.
Brightfield, Objective 63x, flash, no stacking.
Thanks for looking,
Gerd
