my latest finding, a Collotheca ornata. I always enjoy to observe these critters with their very fine filaments that form a funnel in order to catch some meal. At the bottom right there is an egg atached to the foot of its mother.

I do not run across these rotifers very often but when I do it is a treat to observe them.
