Radula – a rasping tongue – of Elimia virginica, a freshwater operculate snail endemic to the lower Potomac and her tributaries, and likely it's relative I found in a little oasis in Palm Springs. Depth color-coded projections.
Staining: Congo Red.
Imaging: 25x/0.8NA objective (6 tiles) and 10x/0.45NA, ZEISS LSM 880.
