Camera used was a Z6, technique is DIC, at 120x (60x objective with a mag changer's 2x dialled in, so 120x).
No photo-eyepiece, direct projection.
This is a very thin diatom, DIC isn't the best unless it's the high contrast type being used. Phase contrast and COL+POL can yield even better results.

Wemacro for focus stacking as usual, with a focus drive adapted to it (I wrote a post in Equipment Discussions briefing the adaptation).
