Chydoridae (Alonella cfr.)

Post by Tonikon »

Hi Everyone,
browsing inside a drop of water, I found this lovely crustacean.
The photograph was performed with a mixed technique: bright field and oblique ullumination (through a glass hemisphere between condenser and illuminator).

I forgot to mention that it is a "Focus Stacking" of 5 images, during which the crustacean miraculously remained still!
