Happy New Year everyone! Hope 2021 is nicer to us all.

Here's my year's progression in diatom microscopy. From brightfield observation, to phase contrast, to DIC, and back to brightfield.

HI really like the images with the clean backgrounds best. In the first image the background distracts from the Diatoms in my opinion.
