Hi,
interesting and different from the usual pictures.
The diatom is very beautiful, and vorticella are funny
Is it a homemade or purchased microscope? If homemade, how do you make this?

Zeiss made a Jamin Lebedeff Interference Contrast set. It is commonly referred to "classical interference microscopy". I believe Anne is using this set, as I saw the post elsewhere.

I am using a Zeiss West Jamin Lebedeff set.
A bit "homemade" is the adaption to an Olympus microscope.

I know Jamin Lebendeff illumination for the first time. I really want to know this knowledge. Can you show me the equipment and homemade parts?I use the Olympus microscope too

it is very complicated to adapt this system to a Olympus microscope, more easy to use an original Zeiss microscope.
But the most complicated thing is to find a Jamin Lebedeff set.

I learned some knowledge about jamin lebedeff on the Internet, it is a old interference method on zeiss microscope(AO LEITZ also), the last jamin lebedeff parts was produced in 1986.
I talk about jamin lebedeff with my microscope-fans friends but no one knews, its really rare accessories!
Jamin lebedeff method produce amazing colorful images that is fascinates me.can you show more pictures a bout your working microscope and microscopy images ?
