A few weeks ago I posted some images of the Midge fly larva Chaoborus here. Since then I have been photographing the pupa, and developing methods to photograph Chaoborus in a mini-aquarium. I am attaching a few pictures below.

I just posted an article referencing several research papers and movies about this organism for those that might like to learn more about Chaoborus.

There are over 40 species, but I have not been able to find a key to the different larva - if anyone can help me obtain one I would appreciate it.
