That's something I don't remember seeing before. Fascinating. Is that an old slide?

This is from a set of TURTOX histology slides I bought on eBay. All of the brain sections are silver stained and the quality of the sections is very good. The balsam has held up very nicely.
It's interesting in these sections that density and arrangement of the neurons are more intereting as you move to the natural edges of the section.

Very interesting, especially the last one.
Looking at it I get a feeling that I better understand why some of my own thoughts sometimes get lost in confusion.
