Dear Jacek,

Please can you tell a little bit about technique for the images of Radiolarias?
I guess, but not sure, this are inverted images? Or darkfield?

Nice! Thanks for sharing. Would not have noted the inversion if not mentioned by Anne :)

Beautiful Radiolarians

Post by Robert Berdan »

Hi Jacek - excellent radiolarian photos I have been taking some photos Radiolarian photos recently as well and focus stacking. It's not easy to get everything to line up and show such beautiful detail as you have. I will post some images when I get some good ones.

Also hoping to take some SEM photos of Radiolarians and Diatoms in the Spring.

Nice work!

Hi Jacek.

I always repeat, your photos are perfect. Your job give outstanding effects.

Really, I admire You and your photo style.

Your todays radiolaria in my opinion are very similar to the spaceships on the background of dark sky.

Write me please, wherefrom do You take radiolaria, because I would like to try as well to do such photo.

All the best.

Is the flea lighting "ordinary", or or have you used your magic there?
Beautiful flea!

Two IKEA lamps + diffuser.
Light directly from the illuminator (without condenser) with various filters + (UV IR cut filter) - single-colored background.

I do not take stereo pictures because I do not see the effect.

A photo on a delicate DIC with good contrast will not go well.
