the lense was a 100 DPlan Apo from Olympus, image done on the Vanox AHMT3.

Lovely image. The DIC on your Vanox is really nice - a "tasteful" gentle gradient. On my ICM 405 I find it almost harsh when using the properly matched sliders and objectives. It gives more contrast, I guess, but it doesn't look as nice. So much so, I nearly always use mismatched objectives and sliders now (even where I have the correct ones) to get a less contrasty DIC effect. Still can't get it as nice-looking as yours though.

Dear Steve,
the Olympus DIC for finity is really beautiful and I do not want to miss it. Although it is the older system, you can create very nice pictures with it.
