Halteria the ballerina

With thick cilia surrounding its "mouth" and other long and thin
in its "waist", how a tiny dancer the ciliate Halteria
spin and jump in the water drop.

Nice, those little guys can be a real pain to shoot, I spent a good five minutes or so chasing a deranged paramecium around my slide. I had to give up
