At least that is what I think it is - I found it in my reef aquarium a while ago... I am quite backlogged with my photos it seems - these are from March 2015 and I still have to post 2016...

You "found" it?
Does that mean you poured in some sea water, and one day there it was?

This was from some sand, and a piece of live rock that I transferred from my tank when I tore it down. I started a pico tank with just marine water, live rock and sand from the main tank.

I guess some eggs were dormant and hatched or perhaps a polyp that evolved? This happens very often with a reef tank - it goes through cycles of different organisms appearing and disappearing.
