Thanks. I assume this is due to dead / growing segments - very cool to see it like that as under normal illumination all the segments look uniform.

Thanks - there was nothing special. Typical wet mount with a fresh subject on a standard slide and coverglass.

Great autofluorescence shots. You guys are really doing some great work with the photochromes that nature provides...
