Some kind of eggs inside algae?

Another image from my cotton blue-stained pond water slide.
Here you can see some kind of eggs inside an empty algae (click on the image to see a larger version on flickr). Each "egg" is about 10-15 microns in diameter.
100x objective, oblique illumination.
