In this video we observe ciliates of the Coleps genus
and ciliates of the Siroloxophyllum genus
Unbelievably one Siroloxophyllum has eaten a Coleps!

I have spent hours watching, observing protozoa and not once have I even seen the lowly amoeba engulf anything well though one protist ingest another. Excellent shots there Carlos :smt023
