I picked a Daisy from our "garden", and spent quite a bit of time photographing the tiny individual flowers that make up the central disk. Inevitably I started looking at the white petals where a few grains of pollen had settled (a common "theme" for me). The white petals had a fascinating and varied surface structure.

Don't know the name of this bright red flower we planted years ago. But the filament (holding the anther) had a great looking texture.

Charlie, stunning photos !
All of them are superb, but my favourite is the second one from the daisy set. The surface of petal looks like odd mountains :)
Great job, as usuall.

Exceptional. Great lighting and composition. Nice to see the Canon 50D is still going strong!
