Epiclintes has a distinct "head" and "tail," and many rows of diagonal (oblique) ventral cirri, which we don't see here. This guy has a long set of paired ventral cirri (midventral complex) between single left and right marginal rows. It also has an interesting contractile vacuole, positioned well behind the mid-body. The cell is rather baggy and bulgy. I believe it is a species of
Pseudokeronopsis. They tend to have a reddish color, but species like
P. carnea and
P. flava (both of which have that posteriorly dislocated CV) can also be yellowish or brown, according to Helmut Berger's Monograph of the Urostyloidea.
