I buy collections of prepared slides online. This wa from a set of 60 slides from Ireland Army Hospital at Fort Knox, Kentucky that I won with a bid of $28 from www.shopgoodwill.com.
These were made in the 1960s and some of them were in pretty bad shape.

Thanks Mike, very cool that you can find these sort of prepared slides online. I would think too being medical they are 'better' prepared than some of the photos of butterfly wings etc that come out of china?

Some were good, some were fair and many were poorly labeled. Bear in mind that these Army slides may have been made by draftees in the 60s who may not have been the best technicians around.
