I don't think this very clear video shows a Pelomyxa, normally being dark brown or grey, and moving extremely slow.
So the specialists may give their votum.

It is not a Pelomyxa. In fact it is impossible to identify it, because it seems not very healthy. Therefore you cann't observe its normal movement/behaviour. Btw, do you mean "palustris" instead of "lacustris"?
